Is this for real? We are killing people we just suspect of drug trafficking and pardoning convicted drug kingpins?!
“Additionally, I Will be granting a Full and Complete Pardon to Former President Juan Orlando Hernandez who has been, according to many people that | greatly respect, treated very harshly and unfairly.”

There might be no better example of the war coming home than a CIA trained teen death squad recruit getting asylum in the US and then shooting a bunch of soldiers who were deployed to DC for no reason other than Kabuki Security Theater

The DC shooting story is really getting to me because we literally trained this man as a child soldier for a death squad in a forever war and Stephen Miller et al want to blame it on other cultures? It's our culture, American culture, that killed that woman.

This is a common sentiment among people who use AI "just a little bit" and I don't think they consider that there is always someone in the audience thinking "this presenter is okay with poisoning black and brown communities to make a throwaway cartoon"
They're not AI gen slides, they are my slides where I sometimes use stylised cartoon graphics produced by AI

One of the neat things that happens with immigration is that cultures share and synthesize each other's ideas, a crucial step in avoiding the birth and elevation of albino dickheads like Miller.
Stephen Miller is now arguing that assimilation is fundamentally impossible and that certain cultures are not compatible with Western civilization

one of the things Weizenbaum really nails is that our propensity to believe machine intelligence rivals our own is embedded in a deeper view of humans as being basically machines, that the ELIZA Effect is in part a product of our spiritual and cultural empoverishment... it seems the woke pope agrees

One deeply underappreciated aspect of MAHA is how much it's often a fig leaf for domestic abuse. I'm not surprised doctors on the ground belive men are withholding kids' vaccines as a way to control and terrorize their wives. They obviously are!

I’ve not seen NYT internal analytics, but I’ll bet $50 they look something like this:

- there is a core user base that uses the app, gets push notifications, posts on social 10+ times a day
- they are X% more likely to “rapid react” to an egregious headline and drive traffic in the first 2 hours…

This precisely.

I resent being made aware of and constantly reminded of these terrible people.
Starting to just get bored of the Lizza Nuzzi RFK jr stuff because although it’s salacious it’s mostly just annoying awful people thinking they’re more fascinating than they actually are

I think we can safely say that the Leavitt's brother called ICE on his ex, the mother of his child, and I have to say: I have no desire to respect, find common ground or share the country with these monsters.
“After Ferreira was detained, Dos Santos Rodrigues said Michael Leavitt Sr. and his father, Bob Leavitt, reached out to her.”

“‘They just kept saying, ‘Tell her to self-deport,’” she recalled. “Self-deport to where? Brazil is not her home.’” www.bostonglobe.com/2025/11/26/m...
‘Brazil is not her home.’ Mother of Karoline Leavitt’s nephew, brought to US as child, detained by ICE. - The Boston Globe
Bruna Ferreira, 33, was brought to the United States as a child in 1998. She is now in removal proceedings in Louisiana.

I have often seen masculinity, conventional version, as a constant renunciation, in return for corrosive power. All the things you're not allowed to like, enjoy, do, say, wear, but (metaphorically speaking) this straitjacket comes with a gun.
So many men go through life like that. You can play poker because it's right-coded, you can't enjoy fruity alcoholic drinks because they're women-coded, you can't lick an ice cream cone because it's gay-coded. All day, every day, choosing and judging things based on coding for narrow norms.
