A tornado impacted the Houston suburbs in northwest Harris County early this afternoon. No injuries reported but damage to a number of homes occurred. Conditions are becoming more favorable for severe weather across far east Texas, Louisiana, and southern Mississippi, with the highest tornado risk along and just to the south of a warm front lifting north across the region. A new tornado watch is likely across this region soon.
