In complete fairness, I think they're referring to D-Day when they say that. Which is equally stupid, but still.

Mid-ranking general, war veteran, some credibility with left-liberal types for not being an out-and-out monarchist, but from an ethnic minority background. IDK. In the civilian world that's probably Rubio, but I can't think of a general who fits that description.

It's all stupid Bonapartism.

in vought's view, the president is a living embodiment of the "will of the people" and congress has no legitimate power to limit him

A lack of real humility is poison when reading Tolkien, I think.

Sometimes I think the Habsburgs put something in the Danube and that's why Central Europe is Like That.

TBH I have never liked multiclassing. I've used it a couple times, but for the most part I prefer monoclassing. Feels unnatural, hard to explain.

On the one hand that's stupid, but on the other that makes sense given how un-fun Level 1 is in 5e and its derivations. Which just goes to show how 5e does not work all that well.

I disagree with your take about Superman, but I agree that it aside Thunderbolts was the best superhero movie of the year. Definitely a very pleasant surprise from Marvel.

Even though I got a lot of levels, I am not sure that turning Skyrim into Blacksmithing Simulator 2012 made the game more fun in my most recent run.

Yeah but why Nightcore specifically?
roninmacbeth.bsky.social
Wait, why is Nightcore key to any of this?

Ah, it was like that with my ex too. Glad it didn't blow up.

He should, but at least he gets to spend however long he has left a paranoiac who gets bullied in Fortnite by a high college freshman. Silver linings.

Sure, but it's not like the rural areas were exactly spared the ravages of those either.

Once that's done I hope to have it published along with an article about the subject of the inscription: Theodore I Palaiologos. And it definitely holds to some of the patterns I noticed in my thesis with how Palaiologan writers treated rebels.

Translation is fun. I'm not perfect at it, my skills are definitely rusty, but I can practicing at it and get it in shape for when I do pursue my doctorate. I was lucky to find a version of an inscription in French, which I translated to English, and now I am making my way through the Greek.

Boondock Saints. Funnily enough the confusion between the two was the original joke on Reddit.

Me when someone on Reddit points out that "The Boondocks" is "Shaft" for Irish Catholic altar boys.
