@diplomatofnight.com format he Schumer book event. Protestor just kicked out. Now he is talking about how October 7 changed America
Ever since gerrymandering failed in California it’s hard to take any hope in the future seriously tbh.
If Democrats can't gerrymander insanely blue states by 2026 or 2028, you are delusion to think Democrats are going to nuke the filibuster, pack the courts, send people to jail, or any other fantasy.

Peter doesn’t have a view as to whether this is bad or not btw

Scinfaxi overlord, through tentacle breathing apparatus: “untranslatable”
The funniest possible thing would be seeing Trump meet an alien in the oval office. Would they be considered an “illegal alien”? I’m kinda half joking when I ask this question

It’s very funny people who love to doom like this post criticisms of the government which are easily tied to them
The only way we'd get real change in this country is if the most conservative Democratic Senator gets on board with court packing but that'll never happen so at best 2028 will be a stop gap until we get President Tucker Carlson (or someone like that) in 2032
The Supreme Court is allowing the challenged Texas congressional redistricting plan to be used in the 2026 midterm election, despite a lower-court ruling that the map likely discriminates on the basis of race.

Guess what I did given I was tired of being humiliated by a democratic establishment that still refuses to make an issue out of secret police putting my family in internment camps! It’s not too late to actually do something instead of getting mad online that someone else organized!

I will laugh if it is Sullivan & Cromwell.

It’s not great that the liberal military defenders need to lie about the my lai massacre?
The military absolutely talks about those stains. Remember, we know about My Lai because Army soldiers spoke up.

A profession isn’t perfect, but it does police itself and tries to do better.

They’re terrorizing latinos with ethnic pogroms and torturing them in camps, they’re executing random people in the ocean, they’re threatening to overthrow the entire government of a latin American country, and they’re openly collaborating with the Russian regime.
Before meeting Putin, Witkoff and Kushner took in the sights of central Moscow, escorted by Kremlin adviser Kirill Dmitriev. (shopping at TsUM looks like)

Why would they see through a story that helps republicans
It is actually interesting that the Republican Party brand is already so toxic that they are trying to seed spoiler candidates to help incumbents win in tight races.

The whole "we're using AI to overturn the two-party duopoly" thing is an obvious smokescreen. NPR ought to be able to see through it.

Not good that both republicans and the DSA hate color revolutions tbh

This is my mistake, and I apologize and will send my apology form in mail.

Can bulwark decide if we need to fight trump or he’s our buddy, this is tiring
"Mamdani has a different idea. He’s betting that the best way to disarm Trump and his lieutenants isn’t to focus on their fascism. It’s to take away many of their voters by addressing kitchen-table issues."

When New York’s mayor-elect met with the authoritarian president, he didn’t waste time with denunciations. But he didn’t exactly hold back.
