The last 24 hours I lurked on Twitter more than anytime since I quit it, and one thing dawned on me - I think there are a lot of libs who actually just enjoy "the fight" .. there is something cathartic about dunking or replying to a conservative making a dumb point, and you obviously lose that here

I think there's a distinction between a joke and a laugh line. This reads and sounds like a laugh line - ha! odd bedfellows in this room! - but it's not a joke. She clearly is happy to make common cause with a roomful of people who want to overturn Obergefell as long as they agree on whatever else!

Notably on a CBS call today in which the panel was floated, one producer also repeatedly emphasized the need to hear from Palestinians in Gaza (Weiss did not respond).

Guys they do this ALL THE TIME. Musk said he'd be in a grave or something if Harris won lol, none of them ACTUALLY believe this. It's just a way to project that the other side is more dangerous than them, nobody is leaving (well Yarvin actually does seem incredibly soft so he's an exception).
