The last 24 hours I lurked on Twitter more than anytime since I quit it, and one thing dawned on me - I think there are a lot of libs who actually just enjoy "the fight" .. there is something cathartic about dunking or replying to a conservative making a dumb point, and you obviously lose that here

John Mulaney's Horse in the Hospital joke remains the best explanation of the Trump administration. Trump doesn't have agency - he's just a force of nature / dumb fucking horse. It's up to everyone else to horse-proof their decisionmaking.
Crazy how much some media has normalized the idea that voters are taking a risk if they elect governors/mayors who will defy Trump. That he’ll threaten their funding, etc.

Try to imagine, say. Greg Abbott being asked if he’s worried that Biden will punish Texas over his lawsuits.

The Luka trade really is the most depressing trade for a fanbase in sports history. Imagine being a Mavs fan and having to watch this for the next 10 years

I will never really get over how Democrats addressed the "candidate old" by pressuring the freaking president to withdraw in unprecedented fashion and put forward his perfectly healthy and vibrant 60-year-old VP only for that not to matter to the press.

Trump really did a bait and switch with voters here. They thought they were getting a young 79 year old but it turns out hes an old 79 year old.
Credit where it’s due. But I don’t think it’s a coincidence that this new framing comes out after a Democratic wave election, the ascendance (and surprisingly broad acceptance) of Mamdani, and his steadily crashing poll numbers.

This is why Democrats need to actually be proactive instead of reactive on redistricting. These guys always balk or lie. Florida will eventually gerrymander AGAIN too. Every statewide democrat that isn't gerrymandering should be targeted with primaries, it's the number 1 most important issue.

First of all. This is a good thing. That Trump has done. (This might be my first praise in a year).

Secondly. Let’s recall what senior Congresisonal GOP leadership said the last time the president negotiated drug prices.

Well done people.

Oh I see Vance is writing essays on social media now too lol
Makes you wonder what Vance will say if Trump orders a US military attack on Venezuela

Is the Trump economy good? No.

But do people feel like they are winning anyway? Well, also no.

Posobiec was literally identified as being "Alt Lite" by the ADL and he was Charlie Kirk's cohost lol
Jack Posbiec is a mainstream conservative pundit now when he is Basically a groyper who can hold in for 2 seconds

Almost every conservative that is "scared" of Fuentes only dislikes his antisemitism and fundamentally agrees with everything else he says about race. There is basically no difference between his content aside from the antisemitism compared to Ben Shapiro, Charlie Kirk, most GOP electeds etc

While a good point, I wouldn't necessarily bet that a generational talent is going to enter the arena. Without Obama, Clinton would have been the nominee. AOC is probably the only person I can think of, and I'm not sure she wants it. Otherwise, I do expect early leaders will have a big advantage.

Guys this is clearly a joke
TDS Watch: First the libs are mad that Trump is killing random dudes in boats as part of a fake war with Venezuela, now he’s making it a real war and they’re mad about that too.

I don't mean to downplay this because it's fucked up and bad but I don't think this is really going to be equivalent to Iraq. We're going to drop a bunch of bombs, not invade and occupy the country
Echoes of 2003, jfc. Still feels like the media is waaaaay underplaying the possibility of this. I think it's such a hilariously stupid idea that most 'serious' media types don't actually think it will happen.

This is a solid list, and the top 4 are perfect.

Force Awakens is better than Revenge of the Sith but I'll allow it.
haven’t seen ROS or Solo but this seems like a pretty ball-knowing list from Pritzker, particularly if he volunteered the name “Star Wars” rather than “A New Hope”

Democrats need to make members of this administration suffer after they are gone. None of the "let's look past this" shit.
Hegseth is now threatening to recall Sen. Mark Kelly to active duty in order to court martial him.

The amazing thing about the right's insanity around Obama is that he's genuinely still the most popular mainstream politician in the country. Like outside of the insane right, nobody actually views him as "divisive"
November 24, 2025 at 4:28 AM
People keep saying Twitter made him stupid but maybe he was just built stupid? This is such ignorant comment that it normally would come from someone under 20. To have lived through the Obama years and say this means you probably were predisposed to having brain mush.
