To be fair, he's not *wrong* that in UK English, the tendency is to anglicize pronunciations of loanwords. It's why they pronounce quesadilla "kes-uh-dill-uh." But insisting on any hard-and-fast rule is the least English thing there is. English doesn't do hard-and-fast rules.

I know a guy who did this with a "bot" that would give you movie recommendations. It was pretty obvious bc of the typos.
Founders on LinkedIn still seem to be struggling with the difference between telling people about their humble beginnings and admitting to straight up committing fraud.

Growing up my family did roast chicken. My husband and I do both ham and prime rib now.
it fascinates me how most everyone in the U.S. does turkey for Thanksgiving, but we are all over the map as to what we eat for Christmas (as is proper for a hugely diverse nation).

This is a perfectly reasonable framing which accurately conveys both the content of Kelly's speech and the Hegseth's response to it.
Utterly ludicrous framing from @nytimes.com here, treating Pete Hegseth's arguments as if they're legitimate. The casual reader will be left with no inkling whatsoever of how unusual and corrupt an abuse of the process this truly is:
