Britt is a useful character to understand in that she's the kind of senator who'd be just as comfortable in 2015 as today (like Shelby)—as opposed to her colleague from Alabama—but the sum of all her actions in this piece amounts to something less than nothing: www.nytimes.com/2026/02/05/u...

While reporting this, I had something happen that's never happened. A comms rep for one of the co's disputed my reporting and said what I was telling them was untrue because it was not in Grok, xAI's chatbot.

I was looking directly at the files. And this person was using AI to challenge the truth.
Epstein had many known connections to Silicon Valley CEOs, but less known was how he made money from those relationships.

We did a deep dive into how he got dealflow in Silicon Valley, giving him shots to invest in Coinbase, Palantir, SpaceX and other companies.

bitcoin has crashed a bunch of times in my adult life and every time, i've thought to myself "maybe i should buy bitcoin now." it's so annoying that if I'd just done it in 2011 i'd be rich. like i'm paying a tax for being sound of mind in a world run by scams.

During part of this we discussed Alpine Luge, which is an amazing sliding sport that sadly is not in the Olympics.

I wanted to know the backstory of the executive order that defined "man" and "woman"—the foundation for the Trump admin's targeting of trans people.

So I took a deep dive into the conservative strategy & distorted feminism behind it. And I talked to the author.

a good way of putting it because a nice dinner with the whole family is a thing that Musk's money can never buy him.
Last year, @andrewperez.bsky.social crunched the numbers and to give people an idea of what that humongous sum was worth to him, the amount of cash Elon threw down for the 2024 election is the financial equivalent for an average family of the amount spent on a nice but not extravagant dinner…

In my opinion these people are the real heroes of the resistance to ICE. There’s no credit, no one can talk about their work (because they directly contact vulnerable families). It’s expensive and dreary and neverending. ICE follows them around. But they refuse to abandon their neighbors
