shaffer probably meant in the context of her overall fundraising $600 is not much but yeah, oof. and also, it leaves out that that's the maximum limit, and considering this guy gave half a million to trump, i'm sure he'd give her more if he could!

apparently when questioned about accepting landlord money from 110 grant resident, elizabeth shaffer says “it’s only $600.” if that’s the case, why not return it? it’s only $600. make a show of it, rejecting money from this slumlord who gave half a million to trump. tell him you reject his values

i was struck by bowen cochran describing the sight of all these defaced jamison whiting yard signs as “a pretty physical explanation of why people don’t want to run for office” especially considering he’s only targeted female politicians before this
