WTF Apple.. It's plugged in and yet you claim it's not charging. This is a 2024 M4 MacBook Pro. This is really just a software issue because now it's at 22% so it clearly is charging...

Nicely done and good for you. On the path downwards there are often plateaus and when I reach that state, I rejoice at looking back up the mountain to see how far I came. I'm 120 lbs down from my peak in 2019 and the past couple of years saw much of that loss. Keep doing what you're doing :)

The Imperial Japanese Army of the 30s believed, like Hegseth, that casual violence - slapping/punching of soldiers especially - would inculcate a cult of lethality among the rank and file.

What it did was so brutalize the troops that they took out their frustration and anger on civilians and POWs.

The Orange King telegraphs his desire for a third term to normalise the idea. By the time the 2028 election comes around, it could become a reality, especially since the "Supreme Court" would probably rubber-stamp a constitutional amendment, just as they have run roughshod over the rule of law...
