And each call doesn't have to contain a full ass manifesto. You can call and say "oppose [these bills]" then hang up if that's the only energy you have that day

You can call and go hard on just [1] issue on monday, then call and go hard on a different issue the next day, etc

Figure out a system!

These calls are about showing up in numbers AND demonstrating that you are a voter demographic that will not just drop the issue after throwing a brief tantrum

If a bunch of people call and KEEP calling, thats hard to ignore in the long term

I want to remind people that when there is a call to action to "contact your reps", it needs to be more than once

Going forward, contacting your reps needs to become part of your routine, at the very least during the work week.

Sustained pressure over time is what matters!

Be weird. Have fun with your kinks. Be accepting within reason. Support small creators. And when these corporate entities try to break into our space, show them the fucking door. You deserve better than the sterile slop they're peddling.

Keep furry weird.

This isn't about acceptance, it's about control. We're a fringe community because we practice radical acceptance. Peoples weirdness and eccentricities - as long as they don't harm other people - are what make our community so vibrant and wonderful.

You see this time and time again with different communities. Look at how Walmart and Amazon destroyed tons of small businesses because they couldn't keep up with their prices. Once they get their disgusting claws into the space, then they can control the narrative and what's acceptible.

The annoying thing about corporations trying to break into furry spaces is that like.. when corporations do this it's because they want to take control of the space so that they're the only ones who can sell things. They're corporations, they can afford to undercut small creators.
