normally i take a step back from whatever i'm working on completely when i'm not feeling creative. i watch movies/shows or read instead and doing that tends to clear my mind, and sometimes while i'm consuming other media ideas will start to come to me & my creativity naturally starts get flowing -

before i know it i pretty much have a whole fic outlined with songs lol i also make pinterest boards for each fic and those help me get the vibes of the fic and the characters, and when i make those it helps me flesh out their personality in the fic and kind of the overall vibe i want for the fic 😌🤙

honestly, it's cliche but my biggest inspiration comes from music! once an idea poofs into existence i instantly start making a playlist for it and it's like it just gets the ball rolling 😌 i'll listen to a song and then it's like i start thinking of what scene in the fic it would fit with, and -
