Well, we got through half the soccer game in the rain, but it's my birthday and I peaced out at the half.

I could not come up with a better epitaph than that. Because whether Scott Thompson likes it or not, I’m one of the fags that loved his work back in the day. And I’m also disgusted by fags debasing themselves by trying to become respectable, especially when it’s an old bitter queen like Scott. He can cry about being censored by the left all he likes, but that’s a meaningless stance when you’re carrying water for the Trump administration. Today I commiserated with a patron who'd been scammed. I told him last time I got got, my credit union rep told me *she'd* been scammed too, and there was just no way to be too smart for them.

He said he really needed to hear that. Nearly every day, my job gives me just enough to help.

"Content" is a blatantly misleading term to use for fanworks. Fanworks are the antithesis of content; content is produced for individual gain and consuming, whereas fanworks are created out of inspiration and the communal experience.

I think that people who are extremely invested in being perceived as "good" get angry when you tell them to stop fat-shaming people because they're embarrassed that they are vulnerable to propaganda.

Gov. Kevin Stitt of Oklahoma, a Republican and the chairman of the National Governors Association, on Thursday criticized the deployment of Texas National Guard troops to Illinois as a violation of his beliefs in federalism and “states’ rights.”

His comments, in an interview with The New York Times, marked the first time a Republican governor has questioned the interstate deployment of National Guard troops over a governor’s objections. Gov. JB Pritzker of Illinois and other Democratic elected officials have been strongly critical of the move and have implored Republican governors to join the opposition.

Mr. Stitt on Thursday said, “We believe in the federalist system — that’s states’ rights,” adding, “Oklahomans would lose their mind if Pritzker in Illinois sent troops down to Oklahoma during the Biden administration.”
