Another new experiment: a clock.

A great clock because it doesn't care how you hold it. It levels itself.

A bad clock, because it breaks easily. Shake it and the hands will drop down by gravity.

The best part... you can set the time by just moving the hands and give them a little sweep.

It's more than fine for people to charge for their work of course, but it feels a bit sleazy when the perception of value is not there.

Especially if the cost to run the app itself is effectively zero like this example.

Yeah, fully agreed 😬

In 2024 it truly felt like the level & volume of tech discourse here was on par with old Twitter, but... the US election clearly shifted things.

I have a lot of US politics muted, and it's like overnight a massive black hole took the place the tech community once was.
