Mental health crisis is no joke. Family struggle to understand the sudden behavioral change, which is often refusal to interact. It’s natural to overthink when logic does not play into the equation.

Love, love, LOVE this post!!!! Our black and brown babies deserve all the love and help that white babies get. What’s sad is the refusal to believe that the cries for help are the same! It’s infuriating. Sending lots of love from an AuDHD mama and treatment foster parent. 💙🦋

I have the same thoughts about my childhood cat, who came at me at 5 and left us when I was 19. My dad should have had her euthanized but did not. She was suffocating from an esophageal constriction. It was the most traumatic thing I had experienced. I will never do that to my babies.
