Everything is situational.

They could genuinely be wanting to make sure their point is clear, etc. As long as they aren’t wildly condescending it’s probably not that deep.

My biggest takeaway with questions like this is to lead with grace and assume good intent if you can and not internalize it.

LA fires = no birthday plans, I was having a rooftop party on Saturday. But even if some miracle happened by then & all the fires stop folks may have been impacted & the air quality will be so dangerous. So I’m just sheltering in place with my boyfriend & chilling. Stay safe. 🤍
