If you mean cops wouldn't collapse on the ground after touching unidentified white powders and have psychosomatic "fentanyl overdose" seizures, I have very unfortunate news: things like this have happened on camera.

Even if the thing they touched had been fentanyl, that isn't how drugs work.

I dunno. I've found players are willing to sacrifice a whole lot if it means they don't have to GM. Especially because, historically, if I didn't GM? There was no game at all.

Right. I think some idiot cop in that city's PD heard someone they were arresting talk about getting a cement mixer and freaked out.

Then they found a bag of flour in the kid's pocket and had a "contact reaction" to fentanyl.

If it were self-realization, they would see it as a failing on their part.

They see it as a challenge to the moral superiority of their objectively correct way of life.

This is why the far right does so many false flag ops: they BELIEVE the things they're faking are true, but hard to catch.

I was writing a ttRPG campaign for it that was like a mix of Battlestar Galactica and Mad Max about the Forgotten fucking off into the alien landscape to live beyond the reach of either GDI or Nod.

Tib Sun has one of the best sci-fi post apocalypse settings EVER! The ruins of a xenoformed Earth, damage done by alien invaders that haven't even bothered to show up, an underclass of mutants, and a conflict between a paternalistic military and a bloodthirsty cult? 10/10, no notes.

Whatever sentiments there may be toward Australian authorities I have not learned of them. My experiences have been exclusively positive, and I so far see no similarity to the fascist boots America now wears.

It's such a strange feeling to realize how much alike we are to humans hundreds, or eve thousands, of years ago.

My favorite like this is the archaeologists who found writing on a cave wall above one side passage in very small font. After they got a ladder to check, it read "This is very high."

And then, just for fun, Border Force goes to a neighborhood that's majority an ethnic minority of Australian citizens. They don't have warrants or probable cause, but they start hitting people with cars and kidnapping them off the street, accusing CITIZENS of being illegal and carting them off.
