Did you ever stop and consider that if you rewatch a TV show on streaming too many times, the company actually has an incentive financially to get rid of that show?

They make the most money when you pay monthly, but only ever watch something once.

Tib Sun has one of the best sci-fi post apocalypse settings EVER! The ruins of a xenoformed Earth, damage done by alien invaders that haven't even bothered to show up, an underclass of mutants, and a conflict between a paternalistic military and a bloodthirsty cult? 10/10, no notes.

Some of the sequences in the MechWarrior games, or especially in MechCommander 2, really give me that same energy that I got form C&C.

Whatever sentiments there may be toward Australian authorities I have not learned of them. My experiences have been exclusively positive, and I so far see no similarity to the fascist boots America now wears.

It's such a strange feeling to realize how much alike we are to humans hundreds, or eve thousands, of years ago.

My favorite like this is the archaeologists who found writing on a cave wall above one side passage in very small font. After they got a ladder to check, it read "This is very high."

And then, just for fun, Border Force goes to a neighborhood that's majority an ethnic minority of Australian citizens. They don't have warrants or probable cause, but they start hitting people with cars and kidnapping them off the street, accusing CITIZENS of being illegal and carting them off.

What educators should really consider is that this is playing into the political goal of de-skilling education.

If America could replace teachers with a VCR, it would. This is one step closer to that goal.

I was just at an official national meeting for the People Who Have the Same Favorite Color As Me Association, and while we were going over procedural policies and electing a chairman, we talked about how Antifa is exactly like our organization. This is why I think the next Democratic president needs to use the EXACT tools that SCOTUS has handed Trump. Don't leave room for any distinctions.

Impound funds for deportation. Give ICE the USAID treatment. Refuse to collect government-backed debt. Purge MAGA loyalists from the executive branch.

Think of old work friends you've had that you don't talk to after changing jobs, or friends you had on one website or game or another that you never talk to now that you're not there.

Just losing that shared context is enough.
