I think it's interesting, because it's also a statement on how humans interpret details.

If you are focused on their face, all the other details fill in automatically.

yes, i literally just submitted a job application and mentioned VRChat

- I have over 5,200 hours in VRChat, which means I not only have a lot of first hand client experience (UX, smoothness, intuitiveness, ease of access, accessibility), but also developer experience (using Unity to make avatars and worlds)

Health care facility. ~25 computers, half on windows 10, a couple in windows 7, rest on Win 11 Home S.

No domain controller. No password policies. No backups. No antivirus. Fuck even the guest WiFi was sharing the same network as the staff computers.

What I think is productive is analyzing the pros and cons of the system and how we can regulate it.

What I think is silly is defining your personality by the side you pick and taking valid criticism as a personal insult.

I think image generators are a tool, just like LLMs.

Like any tool, they can be used for good or abused for bad.

I think these tools do have immense value in certain circumstances.

At the same time, I think they are a horribly destructive machine.

Does anyone know if the Windows sleep settings affect VR usage?

I just want to make sure my PC doesn't sleep while I'm watching a movie or something.

I kind of would like to try to utilize the display and PC sleep settings more.

Windows 11 first impressions as a user:

1. it feels like windows 10 with a reskin
2. the UI, so far, feels much smoother

I will absolutely update with new items when I encounter them.

I finally read down more on this.

I would advise testing both VLC and MPV. VLC is generally good, but it still lacks some support/performance for subtitles.

I personally use MPV these days, despite the UI lacking somewhat (it relies on the config file and hotkeys).

A little sad to see my Quest 2 Steam Link having connection instability with my new Unifi APs.

It does this thing where it'll be fine for like 20 seconds, then for about 10 seconds it'll have some hiccups, over and over again.

I tried tuning some things, but couldn't really come to a resolution.
