Terry Scott's 1962 record "My Brother" opens with a "Phwoah".

He must have done it on telly at some point by 1972.

The only time Davina McCall was tolerable was when she dressed up as a cat on the Ray Cokes show.

Dedication's what you need....

That's my suspicion. If she's already expressed a problem, perhaps after ep 1. They found a few quid to buy in something else. Or maybe she brought in her own clothes and used those.

Here's her sole costume description, for the filming.

There's a few surviving costume sheets for Web, though typically they're only for the filming and ep 1-2.

An episode later and it might have shown if the costume change was planned or not.

And the Cybermen between filming and studio for Wheel.

Oh, it's possible she did.

But on a weekly turnaround I wonder if they'd have had time to get a major costume overhaul chosen, fitted and used. Though I suppose it would have been far easier to get an off the peg custume than having a sci-fi costume made.

How much tax did he pay/avoid when he did live in the UK?

Especially when the episode was 22 minutes.

I doubt actors would have had that sort of power.

Given that most of the costumes were old army stock uniforms, the designer would just have had a bit of spare money available.

Time had passed between those two scenes, enough time for her to have a shower and change. She may have had a room there.

Or Tom and Jerry, if we're really unlucky.

The Morgue programme is only 50 minutes, not 55. So there'll be some fudging around there. The news may gain a few extra minutes.
