Yeah, the one thing the officials *generally* do a good job of is additional time. I could do without the "unwritten law" that a team should be allowed to complete an attack even if it exceeds the permitted time, nonetheless.

Brentford scored at 44:51. The game restarts around 46:20. There were already three minutes indicated. #lfc scored at 49:16.

In the Laws of the Game allowance for time lost is made by the referee/officials for goal celebrations. There was, therefore, no "extra" time added by the officials.

In London you need to live in a London Borough. These schemes are fairly normal in the UK - in Liverpool/Merseyside you also have free travel on public transport over 60 as residents. In England once you reach state pension age, you're also entitled to free bus travel nationwide after 9:30am.

In effect it doesn't even matter whether it's true or not. It could well be "true" - some estate agents specifically charge to verify ID, others include them in conveyancing fees. In Denmark IIRC they use MitID (free). Labour's problem is people don't believe it regardless.

That said, I don't think the Anderlecht - Genk game in January 2024 should have been replayed (a 26th minute penalty should have been retaken, and wasn't), and they made the correct decision not to replay for Liverpool v Spurs (the appalling Diaz VAR "good process" in the 34th minute).

This is usually the very limited exception permitted by governing bodies - a clear and fundamental misapplication of the laws (not poor judgement of the laws) that directly impacted the outcome of the game. In my view this is a very rare occasion when it can be justified.

Absolutely. From what I recall, he also said he was disappointed with his performance - tbf he didn't have much to work with. I guess the other thing was he came off the back of (the real success of) Moriarty, so there was an automatic audience assumption that he was a villain and he didn't deliver.
