Today we commemorate Indigenous Peoples' Day. Many Native American communities live in poverty, with a lack of jobs and education opportunities, due to USA policies since the 1870s. I have been contributing to Maȟpíya Lúta in the Pine Ridge Reservation, SD, for a while now. Please check them out.

I ran and ran, trying to escape from it, despite the darkness and the myriad obstacles. Why did I come through this damned place? The ghoul, or whatever it was, finally caught me and grabbed my wrist with a cold iron grip. It said "Please help me! There are monsters chasing me!"
