PSA’s slogan on their radio ads is “Don’t be a victim, buy a gun.” Lol. Well….

"The Miami Herald/Tampa Bay Times has obtained a list of more than 700 people who have been detained or appear to be scheduled to be sent to the Florida-run immigration detention facility known as Alligator Alcatraz."
Is your family member or client at Alligator Alcatraz? We obtained a list
The Trump and DeSantis administrations have refused to release a roster of detainees, none of whom seem to appear in ICE’s online database.

If you’re under 30, you weren’t even born the last time Andrew Cuomo lived here.

This is your city. Vote like it.

There’s no reason for the US to display its military might. It’s not a mystery. This parade is only being held to stroke the fragile ego of a deteriorating old man.

“They’re federal.”

Was my first time attending a protest. Didn’t expect this and was a little nervous recording. I’ll definitely do better if it happens again!

There were ACLU reps on site and everything was documented. 🤞

We’re working on it!

To be fair.. Banks, GA is closer to ATL than Savannah. And we elected Warnock, not Walker. I get what you’re trying to say but there are good people here.

Georgia. The state. Of Ty Cobb and Herschel Walker.

Really appreciate the ACLU reps and event organizers who were on site for keeping everyone calm and getting her released quickly. No more arrests and she got released before the march started. Yellow/blue vests getting it done. ❤️

Maybe. All I can say is their volunteers helped here.

Yup. She didn’t do anything. Told her to take off her mask, she said no, which he decided was illegal. Right in front of ACLU reps and event organizers too.

They kept everyone calm, talked to police, and she was released pretty quick. The yellow vests at this event were awesome!

That’s my experience today. Never been to a protest before. Didn’t know what to expect but I left feeling empowered. This is not what most Americans want. I cannot overstate the amount of people who were out in Savannah. The biggest public crowd of people I’ve seen in the 5 years I’ve lived here.

Especially if you're on the fence about it, protest today. Fascism is isolating and lonely. Its very goal is to make you feel like you're the only person unwilling to accept a cult of personality. On days like today you fully realize there are more of us than there are them. You will feel better.

A June 14 No Kings protest rally in Savannah, GA. Cops are arresting what appears to be a white woman wearing a KN95-style mask. The main protest continues loudly in the background, making it difficult to hear what is being said or know who is speaking.

A few onlookers gather around the arrest in progress, filming with their phones and asking questions.

Events

Cop: [indistinct] … lawyer; you’re gonna be arrested.

Person 1: This is unbelievable.

Person 2: You’re gonna arrest everybody who has a mask on now?

Person 1: You’re on the wrong side of history right now.

Cop: Are you gonna take it off?

The mask-wearer apparently answers in the negative.

Cop: Alright, go ahead and turn around for me.

Person 3: You’ve got ICE agents wearing masks, but you can’t wear a mask?

Person 4: You’re really arresting her? [indistinct] For wearing a mask? This is wrong! We’re, like, at a protest right now about, like, pro-democracy and someone’s getting arrested for wearing a mask?

Person 5: What the fuck, pigs? You fucking pigs!

Person 4: This is crazy!

Person 6 comes into view wheeling a bike, wearing a banner with unreadable writing.

Person 6: Are you serious? Are you fucking serious?

Person 7: (in reply to Person 6) Yup, ‘cause she’s wearing a mask. You’re gonna get arrested too ‘cause you’ve got a mask on.

A cop approaches Person 6 and appears to engage about their mask.

The remaining speech is too jumbled and overlapping to understand.

Went from a steady decline to a complete drop off. We can salvage something, but it will never be the same.
