Hey y'all - so, recently I've had some major circumstances in my life change. It's nothing super troubling, I'm not going to be living on the streets or anything - but I could do with an extra buck or two. So - I'm (finally) re-opening oto.ini commissions.

It's past 2:00AM right now. I've finished my work for today.

Do I or do I not record more LongWei right now?

Sheepy boy really just saved his himbo ass

But like, imagine how many more formats OU could support just by having a basic diphone phonemizer without any hard-coded linguistic traits.

I wish there was like, an online version of Visual Studio I could use, where I could run and actually build stuff.
deadbyte.bsky.social
I know practically 0 C#, but, I wonder if I could pull something like that off. Biggest problem is that Visual Studio takes up WAYYYY too much of my hard drive space, and VS Code has like, none of the dependencies I need.

I wish UTAU had like… and Alingual Phonemizer. Like, even something like the ARPAsing Phonemizer without the English G2P ( or maybe you could specify which G2P it uses in a custom dictionary ) would be immensely useful for me.

Same. That’s how I first learned English phonemes, and then when I saw Delta English for the first time I was like :0

But given the choice based on personal preference, SAMPA all the way.

I would spread my SAMPA all over the place if I had the power to do so. Everyone would be covered in SAMPA. No one would be safe

People probably think that ARPAsing is my favorite format for English given how much I use and talk about it. But really I prefer the X-SAMPA formats ( Delta, peYton, Salem, etc. ). I mostly use ARPAbet bc it’s a lot easier for newcomers to read, and it’s functionally not that far from Delta-style.

Qing Su has a new “Steady” vocal mode too, though I suspect it’s her “Chest” vocal mode renamed.

Other than that, An Xiao, Feng Yi, and Qing Su all had their “Power” vocal modes renamed to “Powerful”.And Ryo had the order of his modes re-arranged for some reason. Everything else is the same as SV1

Mai is the most obvious and significant. With 4 new vocal modes, and one that I think is her old “Soft” vocal mode renamed.

Then there’s Kevin, who has a new “Mellow” vocal mode.

Last is Hayden, who has “Subdued”, “Falsetto”, and I think “Heavy” was renamed to “Powerful”.

I was bored, so I decided to looks into which DT vocals that received upgrades from SV1->SV2 had additional Vocal Modes.

Interestingly, it’s only three, Mai, Kevin, and Hayden.

Question, not relevant to anything I’m currently doing, I’m just curious. is there a reclist or reclists that is generally agreed upon as being the “standard” for Italian? I’m only really seeing “Italian CVVC”, and I’m just curious if there are other lists out there.

Apparently this needs to be said - while I don't mind legitimate artists showing me their coms, I do mind scam artists contacting me - and if you're a scam artist commenting or DM'ing me ( and trust me, I will know ), I will report you. If you've already contacted me, I probably already have

I still have to pack, which won’t take long at all, but it will make me SO HOTTTT WHY IS BEING ALIVE JUST NOTHING BUT BEING HOT ALL THE TIME I FEEL LIKE MY SKIN NEEDS TO MOLT OFF LIKE AN EGGSHELL AHHHHHHHHHH
deadbyte.bsky.social
If you saw me accidentally post this on Twitter no u didn’t

I just want to live in an arctic climate, where nothing is ever hot for any reason. Is that so much to ask???
deadbyte.bsky.social
I’m going out of town starting tomorrow, and I thought I’d try to get some last minute recording done so that I’d have something to configure if I got bored.

I couldn’t last 30 minutes in there, I felt like I was gonna die it was SO HOT

This is one of the first voicebanks I ever made for him. I promise I knew it was horrible-sounding even then, and that's why I never did anything with it sdfgfdsadfg

I was looking for a thing in my Twitter history, and I found this video I posted of a super-old LongWei voicebank I made for VocalSharp, and it made me laugh, so I thought I'd post it here too

Literally what are you even talking about?
deadbyte.bsky.social
So like, are you stupid, or just that stubborn of a liar? Because I can give plenty of other examples from your own gallery. I don’t know why you keep trying to uphold this ruse, bc nobody here believes it, so it seems to be mostly just for you.

-significantly more detailed ( and I’m also like, 80% it’s AI generated. It has a lot of incongruent little details, and also WHAT ARE THOSE HANDS??? ), and the third one betrays any sort of semblance of proper perspective and anatomy that the second one may have had.

Again, you have working eyeballs - you can SEE each of even just these three works utilize a completely different understanding of artistic principles from one another. The first one looks like it was made in MS Paint, or somebody using an art program for the first time; the second one is-
