I think I might be getting sick
I'm not 100% but I can feel the little signs, and I get the sense it's about to get a lot worse
I hope I'm wrong, but my mom was recently sick, so it's entirely possible I caught whatever she had ( though I don't think the symptoms are the same? *shrugs* )

I just tried a massive trim of the whole voicebank. I cut it down by about half. Which is... acceptable, I suppose. But there's no reason it should still be as big as a 10-pitch voicebank of the same format
I have a voicebank here that’s like… 5 pitches, but is somehow twice the file size of an already existing 10-pitch voicebank of the same voicebank format. No .llsm files, or any .frqs other than the default resampler ones, the samples are actually shorter than in mine than the 10 pitch one.

I tried doing a test trim too, and it didn’t reduce it the file size nearly as much as I’d hoped.
I have no idea why it’s so bloated, and it’s making me crazy.

On a totally (not) unrelated note, if anyone has any tips for reducing a voicebank’s size when it’s bloated for seemingly no reason, I’m all ears.

God, I wish there was a tool for UTAU voicebanks where, like, it could find the earliest “Offset” value for a particular sample, and the latest “Cutoff”, and then just trim the whole voicebank down to only the parts of the wav files that actually get used, and adjust the oto.ini accordingly.

I just noticed that LongWei’s entry on the wikia categorizes him as a “Bass Voicebank”, and I don’t think I put that there. I kind of wonder if I should take that off - because like, LongWei is “capable” of bass vocals, but his actual overall voice type isn’t bass. So like, would that be misleading?

In KPop Demon Hunters, I kind of assumed that the Huntrix girls speaking to each other in English was non-diagetic.
But I just realized, Zoey doesn’t actually sing in Korean at all in the whole movie.
Do the they speak English bc Zoey doesn’t speak Korean as well, given she’s from the US?
