Again, keep calling anyway. If you’re feeling worn out, try doing one call a week or every other day.

Keep in mind that this is a marathon, not a sprint (something that I tend to forget at times).

I wish I could help out besides signal boosting, but I’m not American.

I say keep calling anyway. Don't let her stubbornness discourage you. She's bound to crack eventually.

If you really want to drill it in, I'd suggest telling her that you will vote for whoever will primary and replace her (but do be polite about it).

I have no doubt all organizations that support democracy will be filing-however- it will not stop lives being destroyed damaged etc in the interim- and That is the point-

I was asked why I didn't want to vote for Amy because of KOSA. They asked specifically what about KOSA I didn't like.

PETITION TO THE HOUSE OF COMMONS
WHEREAS
Bill S-209 raises concerns of internet privacy and accuracy of age verification technologies involved in the online censorship of “sexually explicit material” that it seeks to enact. The direct threats to privacy and free expression by institutionalizing biometric de-anonymization without meaningful oversight or accountability stands at the forefront. The requirement of an institutional digital ID isolates many who do not have access to up-to-date photo ID, violating their Chartered right to service access; those who have such photo ID stored in a facial-scan database also risk data breaches which can lead to serious undermining of personal security and further abuse, fraud and theft. ID requirements would also restrict free speech such as political dissent, whistle-blowing, and journalistic research.

Related to freedom of speech and expression, the overbroad language surrounding “sexually explicit material” can be abused for sweeping orders against vulnerable groups deemed “explicit”, despite being lawful content. Exclusion of “explicit” content would also affect domains that host peer-reviewed medical journals, university art history archives, crisis hotlines shared in subdomains, reproductive health education sites and so on.

Whatever good intentions are present, Bill S-209 does not adequately oversee the potential harms involved in its enforcement, and thus should not pass into law in its current form.

WE, THE UNDERSIGNED CITIZENS AND RESIDENTS OF CANADA,
CALL UPON THE HOUSE OF COMMONS TO REFRAIN PASSING BILL S-209.

so the stupid canadian age verification bill is back in parliament so call your local MPs and tell them it’s bad and why it’s bad and don’t be ashamed to pander to them based on if they’re a tory or grit or otherwise - if you frame it in a way that mirrors their ideology, they might remember better
