I wrote a letter to my family who live in Florida over 18 months ago telling them that I was afraid the United States would become fascist if Trump were reelected and asked them what plans they had. I didn't dare send it by email. My brother poo-pooed it. I feel like I was prophetic. Sadly.

It's also because employers can pay them next to nothing and they receive no benefits. It's a completely exploitative industry that no American would ever put up with. Undocumented workers shouldn't have to either!
