Hurricane Melissa formed later on in the season and was still one of the strongest hurricanes ever, rapidly intensifying from Cat 1 to 4 in 18 hrs and then stalled, dumping huge amounts of water for longer periods.

An LNG export facility on the Delaware River would be an unacceptable risk for the millions of people in our region. We oppose this project and are suing the DRBC for disregarding its own rules when they granted a permit extension for the project.
