It is, as I can babble in about art techniques forever, and it's nice to find others who like to listen! 😆
They keep asking me to teach a workshop and I'm seriously considering it. I just need a good topic and approach and the confidence! It might end up being something to give me purpose again.

I started going to an art club, and it's helping me feel more creative, and it's some socializing at least. I was creatively blocked for months before that because of depression.

My cavapoo does that. I always know she has something she shouldn't have, because she'll zoom under the bed where I can't reach! I keep little treats handy to lure her out, then I crawl under there to retrieve whatever. That's fun. 😝

I know a couple of people who have bought vacation condos there and in Costa Rica. I WISH. Alberta is really bad for fluctuating temps. I'm not too bad if temps stay steady, cold or not. It's better now that I'm moving about. It's the middle of the night that it's most brutal! 🥴

I think the adjustment from them needing me, to not as much now, plus them doing fun things and going places without me, is one of the most difficult things I've ever experienced. 😕
Kind of makes me feel like an old piece of furniture nobody has a use for anymore. Old, and boring. 😑

I hate Winter with every joint in my body! 😖 I woke feeling like my limbs are being ripped off my body! 😫 It's agony, ffs, because of the barometric pressure drop.
I totally get why snowbirds like to go where it's warm. I wish so bad the U.S. was a fucking normal, safe and sane country!

Dinner went well. Everyone has gone home. I’m drained AF, and am sitting here trying not to cry my eyes out because I miss my boys SO MUCH! 😩It is still weird that they are grown men now. Always kids in my head. And now the house is too quiet! I feel old. 🫠 At least 18 is still here for now.

It is supposed to jump back up to 17 by Thursday. Flurries today though dammit. Knowing my middle kid he'll come anyway. He once slid down a glacier on his butt while hiking! 😰
