Since starting Qigong, I find I can easily slip into a meditative state for a few minutes at a time when I need to destress. The weed might be helping though. 😆

Housecleaned all day today for company(my two grown sons and their girlfriends) tomorrow, and now a frigging blizzard is moving in!😖 I’m flipping exhausted and feeling my age! EVERYTHING hurts! 😫
I told them not to come if the weather is bad. Not worth it. I’ll just freeze the bird for Xmas dinner.

Very relaxing! It's weird at first to shut your eyes and meditate in a room full of people, but once you get into it, it all melts away. My class are all senior ladies. There is light exercise with stretching and such, but it's not strenuous at all. I come away feeling creative & less stressed out.

Mine is really bad lately, too. I think the change in seasons, plus overuse lately. Only cannabis helps, but I don't want to be high all day, so have it before bed so I can sleep!
I started putting toe warmer pads inside my brace because they are flat and that helps also!

Plus, since I started going to a Qigong class, and practicing it at home, it has also helped me to remember that every day. It also helps my anxiety!

This is my first Turkey holiday, where I don't want to eat 🦃.
I'm making it for everyone else, though🤢. I hope I can do it without 🤮🥴.
I'll eat the potatoes/gravy and veggies I'm making with it, and separately cooked vegetarian stuffing, plus a nice Quinoa veggie & cheese casserole for me!

That song never fails to tear me up, especially after doomscrolling all the atrocities going on down South. My empathy for sane USians is often so overwhelming💔, that I need to practice gratitude every day for where I live. Even though it's AB, with all of its own BS, it's still beautiful, and safe.

My kids wanted a big Costco apple pie for Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow, instead of the usual pumpkin, so they get their wish, but the pumpkin ones were too good to resist, so that is what I'm currently having for lunch! 😆😋
