Unfortunately, negative events are just as likely to inspire as positive. Maybe more so tbh.

It's difficult to just let something like that happen and keep it with you, it just feels like it should be repurposed for SOMETHING, you know?

There are a whole lot of events like the Dyatlov Pass Incident which are pretty good pieces of inspiration.

Granted, you have to pay more attention to the speculation surrounding those events moreso than the event itself, as most likely have a simple reason.
