When I was young, I didn't understand the myth of Cassandra because to my young brain, if someone was telling you that disaster was coming, the adults would want to change it. I miss being that naive. And of course no one listened to Cassandra, she's a woman.

I should’ve known when the new Spike Lee film HIGHEST 2 LOWEST opened with Norm Lewis singing the entirety of “Oh What a Beautiful Mornin’,” it would be a low key campy time. LaChanze plays a detective, Anthony Ramos cameos as himself, and it ends with Denzel and A$AP Rocky in a music video. Chaotic
