i kind of miss being in a cotl server and having a bunch of people to yap with about lore and aus. but, the one i was in was just overwhelmingly full with strangers and people i didn't really care to talk to. i wish there was a smaller, more close-knit one 🤔
what if those months and months and months of mental turmoil i went through could be attributed to the fact that it was hot as fuck outside and i couldn't touch grass 😭 i had other things going on too, but the wretched terrible burning heat did not help!!!!!
while naiad is a great big tarantula, i think i'll make my shamura to be somewhat stout in build. i'm basing them off this little fella, irura bidenticulata AKA the purple-gold jumping spider 💜
still extremely extremely extremely early in development but i already like this 10000000000x better. i think the long hair i gave to them is what was making me dislike it so much. this design more closely follows the design of the shamura's skull relic i think. still much to do though 🤔
i think my main issue is just how far removed from the source material my design has become. my leshy still looks like leshy, heket looks like heket, kallamar looks like kallamar, etc. but my shamura looks like an oc, and i think it's because i used naiad to determine my spider designs 🤔
i already dislike my shamura design again. i just don't know what to do with this fucker, at this point i should just put a bag over their head and call it a day 😭
