when you tell a trans person that we are brave, you are reminding us that it requires bravery to exist as a trans person, that we are under threat, that many (including you?) would not choose to live as we live, or to be as we are (as if it was a choice for us)

ordered a pizza and the driver was supposed to have left the store an hour ago

also I've been hearing a helicopter circling over the neighborhood for about 30-40 minutes

can't help but wonder if the driver is avoiding ICE or was interfered with by ICE 😠

sometimes I do have to remind myself that my best childhood friends are entirely lovely people in real life and frequently make utter fools of themselves on social media

so if you only know the social media side of a person, you might not actually know much of anything

I wasn't gonna wade in myself, like, there's no upside to me contributing to discourse 99.999% of the time

but I'm proud of the work I do and it gets exhausting feeling like I'm constantly being held accountable for things that the HRC of 15 years ago did wrong
