It's weird thinking about how "the president signed an incorrect medical form for his daughter's college admittance" was a season long arc on the West Wing
Can't tell if this is another step forward for the Bears or if the Saints offense is just an abject disaster. Kinda seems like #2, honestly
"I have to get to the rendezvous point, and you're asking me if these are citra hops or centennial hops?!"

This is one particularly good example. Today this is a bike path, but prior to the car talking over it was economically viable for *private companies* to provide electric commuter rail to very not-dense places.

So, density is not the only factor.

This year is like the most comfortable fall has ever been, we were gonna get punished eventually
Developing a theory about the NFL called Nobody is Actually Good
Pretty high up on the list of best Taskmaster guests
Aren't they 1-5 right now? The "average" rest of season outcome is that they go undefeated? This just seems busted.
Can we do Scorigami for back-to-back game scores? @jonbois.bsky.social
I will absolutely take a dumb Bears win assisted by a weird weather play
Bears keeping up their tradition going back at least 3 coaching staffs of absolutely nightmarish 4th & 1 execution despite having a better offense overall
Insane to challenge but also kind of insane that the broadcast kept saying "It's fine if it touches the ground if he had control" when it was not at all apparent that he had control
I like to keep my work in a superposition of "done" and "not done" by avoiding directly observing it
It's weird how there were like 50 stories written about that on the same day and absolutely nothing since then
This year has to set a record for amount of ads for prescription medication
Bullpen game on both sides huh

Not counting Wild Card games, this is the first winner-take-all postseason game to go 12 innings since Game 7 of the 1924 World Series.

Walter Johnson, after throwing four scoreless innings out of the bullpen, was the winning pitcher in that one.

Can't stop thinking about the All Star game, where he called Kyle Schwarber in the swing-off "the most clutch thing I've ever seen", and meanwhile Ken Rosenthal was interviewing players and they were uniformly like, "Yeah, we're not even really sure what the rules are, we're just goofing off"
