I do have news. Eyal Shalom, who pepper sprayed me on May 1 during the vigilante attack on the UCLA Palestine Solidarity Encampment has officially been charged by the Los Angeles District Attorney's office six months later. He's guilty of a lot more than that.
Eyal Shalom, formerly known as UCLA Maroon Hoodie, because he was wearing a maroon hoodie that night with the hood pulled tight around his face to act as a disguise. He also has a neckbeard. A musician, Oriana Korol, was peacefully playing clarinet with her protest band outside ICE facilities in Portland, OR.

When the band started playing “Ghostbusters,” ICE thugs suddenly poured outside, slammed her into the mud, arrested her and took her to a jail 9 miles away in Vancouver, WA.

Honestly a pretty formative Pitchfork staff memory for me was when D'Angelo returned and started playing shows. I probably watched him cover "Space Oddity" 50 times when it happened. Black Messiah is a masterpiece. His cover of "Sometimes It Snows in April" still makes me cry. We didn't deserve him.

Good luck. I'm sure you'll make it. I had a blood panel today and it took 3 hours, because my chemo brain forgot to take the order from my doctor to the bloodletting place. The good news is that I had the best phlebotomist do the draw.

WSJ reports that Ghislaine Maxwell is treated like a VIP guest at a five-star resort in her new minimum-security Club Fed prison. She recently received a special visitor, and the entire facility was placed on lock-down while the guest was there so that no one could see who she or he was. Creepy.
