Ooh! Do we think those are in the tear-and-chew column, or the biteable column?
dolorsitametish.bsky.social
Whoops, it's #drawtober again, so everyone has to deal with another batch of my silly NMJ comics. In this one, we discuss the physics of pastry eating, and the dimensions and relative chewability of macs.
A 'comic book' page done in black linework and Ben-Day dots with yellow accents. It portrays a moment from No More Jockeys set 5, game 9, at approximately 6:15, in which Alex is baffled that Tim uses a "tear and chew" method for eating pastries rather than biting them. They then discuss which method should be used for Big Macs, and also Small Macs. Watson pretends to order a Large Mac from a drive-thru ordering kiosk from "Burger Key"

Wahey, go Team Aphantasia! I can see sort of blocky forms, I equate it to underpaintings. Definitely no faces, turns out no octopus battles either, who knew!
dolorsitametish.bsky.social
First the fun thing was teased and then NOT released on my birthday, and then my inability to picture an octopus is mocked?! I feel personally attacked! Thrilled to see any YHCIH content though, so I'll forgive — but just this once.

I love baseball, and the Dodgers own my entire heart, but wowee what a stupid game this is, why is my blood pressure so high after a 10-5 win‽

DAAAAAAAAAMMMMNNNNN! 👏

“The USA, where you can pick up eggs, milk and lethal ammunition in the same supermarket run, in case you want to make a pancake and then shoot someone in the head, considers people who like trains a bit too much to be its society’s deadliest scourge.” 🤣

Anti-autism campaigner, Karen Hoyland, 40, commented: “I love my child but I hate his autism. The other day I came home to find him lining up his guns, instead of playing with them like a normal kid.”

OKAY
The reason you aren’t seeing the 70 year olds with the autism described by RFK Jr is because they were all put in institutions as kids and kept Out of the public eye. It doesn’t mean they don’t exist or didn’t exist.

Lobbying for Los Angeles. We're cool, and our weather is usually tolerable. I can get one (1) person into the zoo for free with my membership.

I couldn’t let this be the only drawing posted for Key’s birthday, as much as I love and respect the artist. So here, a slightly scrunched birthday Tim! (Shhh, it’s still the 2nd in LA!)
Digital drawing of Tim Key in black and white, in a loose pen-and-ink-ish style. He is wearing an LA Dodgers baseball cap and a dark sweatshirt. His face is slightly scrunched, possibly perplexed by Sexy Watto. His face is still incredibly difficult to draw, this wasn’t my second attempt at this last minute drawing, of course not!

That is so exciting and so impressive! I'd considered it, but neither my intarsia nor duplicate stitch skills are up to snuff.

Post a non-religious picture you think of as holy
A still from No More Jockeys: Mark Watson, wine glass in hand, smiling, focusing on the new guessing game; Alex Horne, wearing a suit in a full bath, screaming, with vinegar in his eyes; Tim Key, howling with laughter, Fatberg watching on.

My yearning is currently sustainable, but I wouldn’t mind some more of this sort of nonsense please.

Has your 'Yes, How Can I Help?' yearning reached unsustainable levels? Maybe a fan edit by one of the Watthos will tide you over.

The t-shirts have been of varying quality over the years, but the last one I bought was lovely! The orange Fiddly hoodie is ORANGE, I have noticeably fewer near misses with cars when I wear it on my walks.

Third and final week of Tour de Fleece! Spun a total of 19.3 oz, 1400 yards/1300 meters! But if you count the singles (which I think you can in TDF?) I spun 4.7 km or nearly 3 miles of fiber!
Several hanks of hand spun wool yarn on a wooden table, the devil’s ivy looking a bit healthier this week. Week 3’s finished yarns: fawn-colored alpaca; dark brown columbia/rambouillet in two hanks, one quite large 3-ply hank, the other a much smaller 2–ply of the two leftover bobbins; the other three experiments with the camel/merino in red-violet and white; that last bit of white merino; and a mystery batt in light sea foamy green with splashes of bright pink, orange, and purple tweedy bits that I technically spun week 1 and forgot about, whoops! A cardboard box overflowing with all of the hanks of yarn I managed to spin up over the last three weeks! A little ‘turtle’ of fawn-colored alpaca yarn spun up on a Turkish spindle using the ply-on-the-fly technique, the shaft removed so you can appreciate the pretty decent job I did winding the cop for a change! I took the spindle with me to visit family so I could spin poolside while explaining myself to people who should be used to me by now, and keep up my streak of spinning every day of the tour. I was dedicated this year!

No thank you. Too fiendish for me!

Tour de Fleece week 2 - late because I had to work all weekend and am now behind on everything fun, boo. But look at the colors!
Several hanks of handspun yarn on a wooden table with a slightly wilted devil’s ivy creeping around the edges. Clockwise from top left: first of four experiments with a braid of blended ‘tweedy camel and merino’ (this one’s a lightly carded 2-ply) in mottled red-violet and white; the finished Falkland 3-ply fractal spin (and the leftovers from when the first bobbin ran out) with white, yellow, pink, grey, and small bits of blue barber-poling together; some little bitty aroace flag hanks from merino I dyed with food coloring in the microwave in orange, yellow, white, light and dark blue, and grey for good measure.
