Why don’t we pay the EU to set up kiosks airside at UK airports? There’s bugger all to do once you’re through security except buy Duty Free and extortionately priced food & drink, so this could be an option? Or am I missing something?

They’re not being arrested for holding banners, but for supporting a proscribed organisation.
They CAN protest ✅
They CAN support Palestine ✅
They CAN’T break the law ❌
If they don’t like the law, they can protest that too! But don’t distract from the real issue here: peace in Gaza.

I understand that, but it’s not a technicality - it’s a proscribed organisation.
I have zero desire to be polite about Gaza, it just seems unnecessarily inflammatory to redirect focus to a load of people being arrested purely for being contrary.
Standing up for Gaza seems more important to me 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’m clearly missing something so please be kind….
You can protest against Isreal and for Palestine - that’s free speech. But you can’t support a proscribed organisation.
So why do people protest with Palestine Action placards?
Just support the bigger cause instead of courting trouble? 🤷🏼‍♀️
