For me, the best werewolf books I have read were not necessarily very dark but clearly aimed at an adult audience. There is certainly a market for these works.

I am learning the hard way to never write a book with child protagonists again. My books have far too dark themes veering into horror and grimdark territory.

I am soooo used to this! For better or worse, writing is just a hobby so I can focus on satiating my own unfufilled wishes. Books with twists readers hate, more theatric drama over action and the same 3 tropes are my jam. If I don't love my work, then what is the point of working so hard?

Check your contract with an IP lawyer. If it clearly stipulates your contract obliges the publisher to register the copyright and didn’t, you can sue them for breach of contract. There has been discussions of this at SWFA and the Authors Guild. I predict a class action in the makihg.

Hahaha, for odd reasons, a sharable expo I made for a class that I probably only took an hour to write from almost 10 years ago and forgot about is apparently viewed by tons of people in my major. An ex coworker joked to me about it cuse it was so funny. It's actually kinda bizarre.

I have been taking longer at times duebto writers block. Also because I take university classes so I need to balance homework with hobby fun writing. If I didn’t write chapters whenever an idea pops up, I'd have burned out or written something I hated.

I have been capable of weiting 120,000 novels in 3 weeks if I am really focused. However, lately I take my time and have been averaging 1 novel a year.

I need a final showdown for the book and my writers block has made me unable to think of how to end it. But given how much the protagonist hates playing the game because of childhood trauma, I can see playing the game against the big boss to be a cool final arc battle.

I feel Cym would carry the helm of the book if Leenx was further incapacitated. I could see a book from her POV where she becomes less jealous of Leenx's fortune and becomes more proactive in removing the family curse.

It has been a common complaint of UK and Canadian authors. Possibly one of my books was stolen but I wasn't listed because its registered Mexican copyright leaves the book out.
