Eventually, she finds out it was never her Rimmon was uncomfortable with but those she was close to.

Though Azalea helped, it was ultimately Rimmon that helped Ilmatar deal with her guilt about certain events.

Now she would literally kill for him and he's just as quick to have her back.

Honestly both Rimmon's have not had a good time, the biggest difference between them is that OG!Rimmon had a good support system after all the bad stuff that happened and Alt!Rimmon was completely cut off from his support system.
