I was sitting with my friend discussing seasonal crafts and activities yesterday. For my trad, fall and winter are the seasons of needlework, candle making, incense creation, oils and brews. Since I have my garden herbs harvested, we will begin with horehound cough drops. What are you doing?

Another week begins with the government shutdown. Dozens of states have sued to release the USDA emergency fund so hunger doesn't hit the richest nation in the world. I don't think we're that rich if we have citizens who are that close to the edge. The vote tomorrow is a chance to fix this. #vote
