It is never fun when I take my work to an event with friends and hardly anyone takes interest. I had stuff there that I have not posted anywhere before.

I love all the "What is making the game do that?" kind of bugs.

New environment teaser posted to Patreon. I hope to have new fun images to start posting over there more often. Please support an indie developer on his mission to bring smiles to people.

If you complete all the gift delivery levels with a character, you unlock a dance mode where you can watch those characters dance on the dance floor. Just a fun bonus I came up with.

The game will be on Steam for less than $5 and I will update based on feedback. I may even change art post launch.

Each level has two modes. The first mode is a gift delivery mode where you are delivering a gift to your friend. Once you complete the gift delivery, you unlock "Ice Cream Mode" that is endless as long as you pick up ice cream along the way. Gift delivery is still random, but has a set goal.

Smile Run (and future games) have a cast of 4 kids and 2 adults. The player can select any kid to play as. The models are about the same size and there should be no difference in how each plays. An adult cares for the kids and runs the Smile Cafe where the game starts from.

I guess I can describe Smile Run a little while I finish up the trailer (I have been going back and forth from higher quality promotional art and game stuff). Smile Run is an endless runner that will feature 4 environments that play differently and will seamlessly switch within the same run.

I am finally starting to feel happy with the Smile Cafe. I still need to make the "menu" board. Looks like Kit really wants some ice cream.

The second character of the Smile Run group is almost finished. She is the Dragon of Dragonwolf Games. Her model is finished. I am working on rigging her for animations. I decided that the first version will not be able to have her wings fold. Once I am happy with her movement, I can paint her.

Thank you. I hope to have a trailer soon.

Zniw was one of my biggest inspirations for chasing my dream of becoming a game designer.

The sky environment is finally starting to look like something nice. These may not be the final assets, but I like the way it is looking. Tomorrow I will work on some ground objects that will randomly spawn. Also, first screenshot of the actual game finally.

I guess I need a trash can. I always forget to add trash cans in the games I play, so why not forget to add one in the games I make.

I will be creating regular content for both Patreon and here as I have more assets ready.

The Smile Cafe is now serving ice cream. Important for "Ice Cream Mode" in the Smile Run game.

A different character works behind the counter. The kids are just runners.

Kit. You do not belong behind the counter. Get out from behind there.

I swear a teaser, and screenshots will be out soon. I just do not like the way the game looks now. The full trailer will be like a mini movie.

Smile Run has been previewed a few times now. Every time, there are weird bugs like Kit's object not turning when the player hits left or right. When I get my laptop home, everything works perfectly. Even though the only thing that changed was the location of the laptop. I hate software.

Since the player will never see the front in game, I may even make the front lower as an in-game model. The higher vertices model is still going to be used for promotional purposes. I will be working on that model more as I get time.
