Sovereign citizen is suing to get back the $13 million he was able to trick the Treasury into sending him. I can't quite tell from the court records how he did it, but once the mistake was realized, they quickly removed the & from his account. But wow, he did, for a time, have that money

Sovereign citizen calls himself an idiot in court.

He appealed his conviction on the basis he did not realize that going without an attorney was a bad idea but the court disagreed and upheld his conviction
