I think Founders intended for it to be used to protect us from traitors trying to overthrow the government back in the 1700/1800s. Not thinking that it would be used against us by our own President.

But yeah, we should have amended that during Biden’s term. We knew better.

Well there has been a concerted effort by some groups since the 70s to strengthen the presidency (to set it up for dictatorship). Some groups being mainly the Heritage Foundation. It's called Unitary Executive Theory and its application can be traced to the Reagan Administration.
