This world is amazing - beautiful, mysterious and really deeply fucked up.
I believe that most people I know just wait for that one spark, but there are some that don't wait...
The guys behind ICE List. KUDOS.
(And a legend whistleblower, even more so. Good to know that there are still some humans there.)
We've obtained the largest leak of ICE data since we began tracking them.

This data is now under review, all 4,000+ agents will be published upon confirmation.

Fuck ICE.

YEAH!!!
This is the best news since the death of the dick Cheney.

If I was asked this question, I'd answer "To tell everyone that the data centers they build on Earth, just around the corner, are temporary. Just a few years and you will have your water and fresh air back, we promise."

Great article btw.
Why Is Everyone Suddenly Talking About Putting Data Centers in Space?
Space is cold and has abundant solar energy — the very things data centers need. Experts tell us it’s not that simple.

Good strategic thinking, but not in such a huge scale.
It would only dissipate the energy.

I'd say - less targets, more impact.
If we succeed with one or two, we go after the rest.
Want to Stop ICE? Go After Its Corporate Collaborators.
ICE can’t function without help from the private sector. So we should force the private sector to stop helping.

Just another Chekhov's gun.
If there is still somebody without a clue where our fucking ruling class is going. Here's a hint.

Another day, another general insisting that the UK's MASSIVE military budget needs to be even bigger - this time for our own Iron Dome

If I’m understanding this correctly, X is owned by a white nationalist who pays poor people of color in developing countries to pretend to be working class white Americans to scare other white Americans into being afraid poor people of color from developing countries are going to ruin America?

The cartel does not exist in Venezuela.
The fentanyl does not exist in Venezuela.

OIL DOES EXIST IN VENEZUELA.
Venezuelan cartel (which may not exist) now tops US terror list

More surveillance. More militarisation.
Just in case you know how to effectively protest.

I start to see data centres as near future battleground between ruling class and us.
This is mining on steroids basically now. So much destruction and for what? For another investor hype that can cost us environment, health, life?

I already mentioned some brilliant sources of knowledge here in this thread, and I will copy them here, too:

Books: Bright Green Lies, This System Is Killing Us, Less Is More… from the top of my head.
Podcasts: Planet: Critical, Green Flame, Resistance Radio and so on.

Please don't understand my comment as a diss. That would be super cool if everyone adopted a ecological style of living.
What I'm saying is that the things we were said to do to bring a good change mostly don't work.
ie - electric cars - it's a tip of the iceberg, but basically they kill the planet.

I think that you stopped paying attention to the real world effects of those acts, just after multinational corporations succeeded in pushing the idea that the state of the world is somehow our fault and we can change it by our behaviour or consumer choices.
November 21, 2025 at 8:38 PM
I actually don't think so. That AI speculation bubble everyone's talking about means that the profits that AI companies declare are hugely blown out. The data centres couldn't pay for themselves in that period imho.

Then - the real issue here is the existence of those centres...

The deadliest Israeli airstrike during this "ceasefire". 30 people dead since yesterday.

This is also a very strong argument in our recent discussion here about effectiveness of our protests. I am so very sorry to be right. We can protest and protest till the kingdom come and it'll change nothing.
