I tried Nyquil cough one night. It didn't knock me out and then I just felt weirdly groggy the entire next day. So I've avoided sleep aids since then. I am trying a cough suppressant without an expectorant in it as I fear the expectorant has been making the post nasal drip and coughing worse.

I don't think so. My sinuses aren't that congested. I can tell they are somewhat deep in there, but I have always been able to breathe through my nose.

I had the benefit of being able to throw Baltimore into my search because when the ice cream shop announced the flavor collaboration with her, I was like wait is she from Baltimore? I found this article, which confirmed it.

It's been a long time since I've had a cough, so maybe I'm misremembering, but I really can't remember ever having a cough this relentless and persistent. Every second I have spent in a mask over the past 5 and a half years has been worth it to avoid having more illnesses like this.

I know everyone is tired of hearing me whine about this cold, but it is the weirdest most brutal yet not brutal cold I've ever had. When I'm not coughing I feel completely fine. When I am coughing, which is like every 30 seconds from around 7 pm - 7 am it's miserable and I haven't slept in days.

Now in sick day viewing I’m watching the season premiere of Grey’s Anatomy. It’s insane this show is in its 22 season. It’s been on the air longer than college aged kids have been alive!

I am watching some dumb movie with Meg Ryan and David Duchovny as exes who run into each other stuck in an airport during a snowstorm. It’s making me crazy that flights were diverted ther, no one can get out and yet the airport is practically empty.

It's been at least 6 years since I've been sick with anything that's given me a significant cough. I forgot how miserable it is.

Apparently all the drug companies tried to make their cough medicine taste better since I last had a cough 6 years ago. The Robitussin and NyQuil cough are both some awful berry flavors whose taste I cannot get out of my mouth. At least the awful anise flavor went away with water.

Strep is better. Take some antibiotics and you’re good to go in a couple days.
