To serve as my pinned:

Greetings! I'm Ian, and (amongst other things), I'm working on a metroidvania!

🌖"Moons in Crystal" is an isometric fantasy "space" metroidvania.🔮
A screenshot from the work-in-progress video-game "Moons in Crystal".

Specifically, it shows a view from within the Ossuary Moon.

Here all is made of bones--even the moon itself. Bone walls surround statues composed of bones, and the way is shut by a door of great long-bones and skulls.

A few fixtures of brass and crystal add variety, as well as lighting the exhibits in this specific area, which serves as an art-gallery. A screenshot from the work-in-progress video-game "Moons in Crystal".

Specifically, it shows the exterior of the Serpent Moon--that being a huge, coiled snake. The player hovers right before that serpent's jaws, which are open wide to admit entry... A screenshot from the work-in-progress video-game "Moons in Crystal".

Specifically, it shows a view within "space", with bright stars against a purple backdrop, and floating nearby, a moon made of bones. A screenshot from the work-in-progress video-game "Moons in Crystal".

Specifically, it shows a codex-entry--in this case, that of an artefact. (Artefacts being the magical "weapons" of the game.)

On the left is an image of the artefact, being a necklace with a pendant in the form of a fox's head. On the right is a brief description of the artefact. Above is the artefact's name. And below is a "close" button.

Burning the pad, as the bosses burned all your joy. XP

Amusingly, "The Lord of the Rings and Dragons" was exactly what Gandalf was afraid of, and what set off the events of The Hobbit!

look, the truth is, you can add 'and dragons' to any title ever and it will make it 100 times better

Ah, well, I'm glad that you got to see it, at least! ^_^

I'm kinda sad that you can't climb the stairs--but I imagine that the feet of who-knows-how-many tourists would wear away the treads, which have otherwise lasted the millennia... :/

But surely it's the day before that you celebrate most vociferously. ;P

Time to build a new garden-hut around it? :P

A belated happy birthday to you! I hope that it was a good one! ^_^

She should really get that checked out. It's supposed to be yellow! >:P
ebornian.bsky.social
You change your avatar so much that I don't look that closely that often, I suppose! XD;

It's hard to miss here!
ebornian.bsky.social
Well, I'm glad to see that you're looking happy! ^_^

Also, the dark hair was a surprise! As far as I can tell, it looks like it suits you. ^_^

I choose to believe that the red strands shown here mean that this is a romantic story. :P
ebornian.bsky.social
Oh wow, that is very cool! I love the ingenuity that people across the world have shown in the various and varied ways that they've built! ^_^

(The "00" was a keyboard error. Even the keyboards here are barbaric! :P)
ebornian.bsky.social
Fair enough! Well, take care when you return to us barbarians! ;)00

That's sort of what I was getting at: if you've crossed both Tigris and Euphrates, you're presumably no longer between them. No longer meso the potamia. :P
ebornian.bsky.social
Welp. I fear that you have now left civilisation. ;P
