Oh, it is. Definitely. Don't know about you, but I'm a whole heap of anxiety and never really been a "joiner" but I've met some proper lovely people and everyone is really kind and let's you go at your own pace. Never been brave enough to go door knocking but just leafleting is really satisfying.

Really?! I'm "stunned" it's got as much traction as it has. This story has been going on since before June 2016 on both sides of the pond but despite it basically defining the current moment we're supposed to ignore it and all it's implications.

Literally had this conversation today with a RW voter I'm slowly persuading that "law and order" is better served by reducing the impetus to crime rather than alienating people further from society.

Yes, he said on QT he'd be in Handsworth today and I know he's in Manchester tomorrow. I think he's just one of those people that thrives when busy, which is lucky for him (and us!), just so long as he makes time to be busy at "life" too. ⚖️

A few months later, my scheduled payment was taken as usual and on the VERY SAME DAY, I received the £1.50 refund. Someone had taken the trouble to think that it would help offset the extra expense in my budget that month and scheduled it accordingly...

Story time: a few years ago I updated my payment card details and the system took out a £1.50 "pro rata" payment. I emailed Membership to make sure I hadn't accidentally changed plan or anything and told them to keep the £1.50 as a donation. I got a reassuring email back and thought no more of it...
