i have written this a few times now but the reason JD Vance spends all day posting is that they barely tolerate his presence in the white house and have locked him out of every decision of consequence. he is basically unemployed
Shouldn't you be doing government shit?

This is all so unsavoury. If true, why isn't JD Vance saying it? If true, why isn't JD Vance acting on it? And why is David Lammy stanning for him in the meantime?

"When I was a very small child, I had a sense, whereof I know not, that William the Conqueror was the first king of England and that history began in 1066. When I was a slightly less small child, I was delighted to learn that this wasn’t so..."

Regarding a surprisingly complicated question
Who was the first king of England?
A surprisingly complicated question.

Here is a video of a frozen creek that had begun to thaw, and the water was flowing beneath the thin ice on top. I took this because it was soothing and wonderfully bloopy and I wanted to listen to it for hours. You are all welcome to enjoy it, too. Let your brain settle here and rest for a moment.

Have deleted a reply elsewhere with glinner approvingly sharing a call to revoke the 19th amendment (women’s right to vote btw) by a wee 4chan loser nazi on X, cos it was full of lies and ableist slurs. Here it is again with the irrelevant disgusting stuff removed and just the relevant info.

The agent responds, "Have you all not learned from the past couple of days?"

"Learned what?" she asks

This guy is in Minneapolis standing before an American citizen in an SUV.

The only reason he's brandishing an assault rifle is because he wants the people he's purportedly there protecting to feel terrorized by his presence.

This is not protection. This is occupation.

Not sure why John has made up that I have a "first preference."

In fact I've repeatedly said - including to the Independent - it's not my role to pick the future Labour leader.

I'm focused on growing the Green Party.

Masonic membership carries a perception of unfairness—real or not—in decision-making, undermining trust and confidence.

If you belong to an Org you believe in, transparency should not be an issue.

I am not, have never been, and will never be a Mason. Openness matters.

I’ve seen first-hand the utter devastation road deaths cause — families shattered in seconds, lives permanently changed. To dismiss this as an “utter non-problem” is wrong and deeply offensive.

The acceptance of this devastation reflects a lack of knowledge and ambition. We can do so much better.
According to David Frost, a road casualty toll which involves an average of 80+ people *every single day* either dying or suffering injuries which could change their life forever is an "utter non-problem".

This is why MPs get thrown off balance when they come on Bluesky.

They aren't slavishly followed but still get engagement and held to account by real people and they've totally forgotten that a) people exist independently of the media class and b) they *talk*.
The idea that journalists, politicians, groups or - you know, women, people of colour, LGBTQ+ people - should "stay on the pitch" doesn't really hold up.

Foreign Minister's account has 60k followers - 40 likes, 13k views?

Blue ticks straight to the top of the queue with misogyny, bile.
This is the 'engagement' that the Irish government has been using to justify remaining on X. These are the top replies to a randomly chosen recent post.
