Unless you've always voted for the loser, your votes did help create change. Votes do matter.
As for editorial control of news, I am a retired TV news producer/director. News media can and does make mistakes, but can also help change political decisions for the better. Trump bitches about it a lot.

Maybe voting alone won't fix it but if you don't vote, you are effectively aiding Trump and the GOP. They are doing everything they can to suppress voting because they fear it. They can be removed from all positions of power and be forced to answer to the law. VOTE!!

There are some poor reporters but the entire press is not asleep and there have been some excellent questions asked at White House press briefings. Trump, Karoline Leavitt and all of the GOP spokespeople continue to dish lie after lie. The only people who can solve this problem are the voters. VOTE!
