Here's some personal news I'm sharing because why not: 我学习中文 / I'm learning Chinese. I've been taking classes for 6 months, still very much a beginner (not even HSK1 yet) but enjoying it. Also appreciating Chinese culture more, especially food. If you can recommend learning resources, please do!

You can get 29 inch waist COS jeans on Vinted too - that is literally a size 11

Lucy & Yak. They do petite and their size 10 is more generous. Only snag is you have to wash them separately, but I just do an express wash for 20 minutes. COS sizes run bigger so you might be able to wear a 36 and you can try them on in a store. You'll have to take them up though!

Ironically María Corina Machado likes Donald Trump. She said the path for Venezuela to follow has been laid out by the Trump administration and has called for Trump to intervene militarily in Venezuela

Sunder it is outrageous that you are experiencing this at all, let alone that you're having to work so hard to get any kind of redress. If there is anything I can do, please let me know. In the meantime I wish you the very best and I'm sorry for the toll this must be taking

it's the world's third largest emitter. Also about 40% of the world's emissions are created by countries who contribute less than 2% each, so if they all took the attitude that they were powerless in the face of the US and China, we'd all burn. I think it is odd not to mention climate in your piece

If India wants to be a developed country by 2047, it should stop investing in coal and throw the kitchen sink at renewables. Otherwise the effects of global warming will be so catastrophic that there won't be much of a country to develop

India wants to be a developed country by 2047, the 100th anniversary of its independence from Britain. But what does that actually mean? I have a go at crunching the numbers.

Narendra Modi’s paltry target for India’s growth
The prime minister wants a $10trn economy by 2047. He should be bolder

It is a genuine privilege to work on the UK's energy transition but having to stare in the face every day what the earth is doing compared to what global politicians are doing... Some days that is very hard

This is actually one of the best news pieces I've read in mainstream media about our circumstances. It carefully lays out the scale of the catastrophe we're potentially facing, and the utter unseriousness of those elected to do something about it

One of my friends has just started a toilet paper company! But with a twist: ALL profits go towards supporting good causes from supporting migrants to climate justice. You'll be buying toilet paper anyway, so why not donate to something worthwhile at the same time? www.indiegogo.com/projects/cle...
